Photo of seemingly frail Jobs appears on Web (Reuters)

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – A photograph appearing to show an emaciated Steve Jobs surfaced on celebrity website TMZ, which said the picture was taken on Friday, two days after he resigned as Apple Inc's CEO.

The photograph on TMZ.com showed Jobs clad in a black knee-length gown, supported by an unidentified man beside a car in a sunny, unknown locale.

Photos of the Silicon Valley legend, who on Wednesday dropped a bombshell on Wall Street and Apple fans when he passed the CEO reins over to right-hand man Tim Cook, have surfaced on various tabloids this year.

The health of the pancreatic cancer survivor has been a constant source of speculation.

TMZ's photo, credited to Pacific Coast News, ignited a firestorm of indignation on Twitter.

"Leave Steve alone @TMZ. You guys are low as you can go. This is what's called 'journalism' these days. Seriously disgusted," brian-tong tweeted.

TMZ declined to comment. Celebrity photo website Pacific Coast News said it had snapped the photograph and then sold it exclusively to TMZ. Apple declined to comment.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – A photo book showing pop star Lady Gaga's life on the road and in the recording studio will be released this year, the book's publisher said on Thursday.

The photo book, titled "Lady Gaga," will feature more than 350 pictures of the Grammy Award-winning singer taken by Terry Richardson between the Lollapalooza festival in August 2010 and the final shows of her "Monster Ball" tour this year, according to Grand Central Publishing, a division of Hachette Book Group.

The book, which will have a foreword from the 25-year-old singer, will be published on November 22.

Alleged Weiner nude photo released by radio hosts (Reuters)

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – An alleged photo of Congressman Anthony Weiner's genitals hit the Internet on Wednesday after conservative watchdog Andrew Breitbart shared it with a pair of radio DJs who then tweeted it to the masses.

Breitbart had said repeatedly he had no intention of releasing the photo unless the embattled politician launched a "jihad" against him.

"I'm not releasing it. I can't think of any other publication that wouldn't," he reiterated on XM Sirius' "The Opie & Anthony Show." "I could probably get a gazillion hits off my page -- I'm not doing that to him and his family."

But the two radio hosts goaded Breitbart into showing the photo -- via his cell phone -- to them and some staffers, as well as actor Vincent D'Onofrio, who was also an in-studio guest Wednesday. Breitbart claimed Weiner had sent the photo to "a gal down in Texas."

After Breitbart left the studio, the Opie & Anthony crew, according to their tweets, used footage from their in-studio surveillance camera to grab a still photo off Breitbart's phone screen. Gawker published the uncensored photo, which does not include Weiner's face or any other clues that it is him.

As Opie and Anthony passed Breitbart's phone around, Breitbart is heard saying: "Don't show it anywhere," instructions that were apparently ignored.

Breitbart didn't return phone calls or emails from The Hollywood Reporter, but he told Fox News Channel that he was "mortified" by the photo's release and the behavior of Opie (Gregg Hughes) and Anthony (Anthony Cumia).

"This is the first time that someone surreptitiously grabbed a photo of it," he said. "This is a complete breach of our arrangement that the photo would not be made public. It was a complete violation of trust."

Breitbart has been making the rounds on TV and radio to discuss his role in the Weiner debacle. Breitbart a week ago published on his various websites a lewd photo tweeted by the Democratic congressman from New York to a college woman, though he withheld, until now, the allegedly more incriminating photo of Weiner.

Neither Opie and Anthony nor Sirius XM responded to queries from The Hollywood Reporter, but Opie tweeted about the episode throughout the day. He acknowledged he tried unsuccessfully to take a picture of Breitbart's phone screen. He then tweeted: "Wasn't until @AndrewBreitbart left the studio that we realized what was captured on our video camera."

His partner Anthony issued a press statement that reads, in part: "I want to make it clear that Andrew Breitbart had no knowledge that this photo was being made public. A phone with the photo was being displayed and a camera in the studio caught it. It was then uploaded to Twitter, again, without Andrew Breitbart's knowledge. I regret that this occurred."

The embarrassing revelation of probably the most explicit among the photos Weiner has been sharing with women online comes the same day several news outlets are reporting that Weiner's wife, 35-year-old Huma Abedin, is pregnant with the couple's first child.

The New York Times said that Abedin, an aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, headed to Africa on Wednesday with Clinton and that the State Department wouldn't confirm her pregnancy.

Live Nation, Guy Oseary launch online photo gallery (Reuters)

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – This week, Untitled Entertainment partner Guy Oseary and Live Nation are going live with a joint web venture RockPaperPhoto.com, an online art gallery selling largely unpublished, hand-signed, limited-edition prints of more than 1,000 singers and acts ranging from B.B. King and James Brown to Green Day and Gwen Stefani.

The site features the work of 70 photographers including such recognized names as Baron Wolman, Ian Dickson, Deborah Feingold and Michael Putland. RockPaperPhoto museum-quality processes include silver gelatin, archival chromogenic, platinum print and archival print, with entry prices at $250 running to a top-tier of $10K.

The website is a bit of a passion project for Oseary, who manages the careers of Madonna and Alex Rodriguez among others and is also the exec producer of "Last Call with Carson Daly." He was the architect of Madonna's landmark 2007 deal with Live Nation.

"I've been collecting photos for a long time, I mean since I started making money. But what you have had to go through to find a good photo is like a needle in the haystack sometimes. You'll drive from one gallery to the next gallery to the next gallery. It's not an easy process. It's a very ancient model that just hasn't caught up with the times," says Oseary. "So I really came up with this idea out of frustration."

Oseary first discussed the concept with Live Nation CEO/president Michael Rapino over dinner a few years ago. "We've been talking about it for a while and we finally said, 'Just go for it.' I really wanted to create a place where you could just sit back and be able to discover great photography instead of specifically going to a gallery to find one," says the manager.

He says his own collection of photos numbers around 200, including a number of shots of The Sex Pistols and John Lennon by Bob Gruen (who is not featured on the site). "Those were the ones that when I made my first dollar I decided to invest in," he says.

Says photographer Tom Murray, whose famous 1968 photos of the Beatles are on the site: "It runs the gamut from Frank Sinatra to Justin Bieber and it suits everyone's pocketbooks. It's all limited editions - they are interested in low numbers and high quality."

Among Murray's photos is his famous, or perhaps infamous, shot of John Lennon playing dead in a park while his three bandmates look on.

"We were taking other pictures and suddenly he dropped to the ground and pretended to be dead. Twelve years later when it actually happened it was very spooky. It's a very controversial picture. Beatles fans either love it or hate it," says Murray.

RockPaperPhoto shares profits 50/50 with artists, a traditional split in the bricks-and-mortar art gallery world.

The site is one of many recent forays into the digital world by Oseary. He was instrumental in developing GrouponLive, a discount-tickets joint venture, announced May 11, between Groupon (for whom he advises) and Live Nation.

Last year, he formed a digital investment partnership with Ashton Kutcher called A-Grade which has helped fund such recent start-ups as video-chat service TinyChat, anonymous-flirting hub LikeALittle and GrubWithUs, a website for finding like-minded people to dine with. "We are making a lot of investments," says Oseary.

Jake Gyllenhaal sues over underwear photo (Reuters)

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Jake Gyllenhaal's lawyers are scouring the Internet, attempting to eradicate a picture of the actor that shows him stretching in his tighty-whitey underwear.

The letter was sent to a few websites, including Queerty.com and Buzzfeed.com. Gyllenhaal's lawyers claim that "as anybody could tell from a cursory examination, this is a fake picture, in which our client's head has been pasted on the body of another person."

Gyllenhaal's pose in the photo is said to resemble an album cover pose of singer Grace Jones. The photo might be a nuisance to Gyllenhaal, but the legal campaign seems to have backfired. "We're keeping the photo up, since it hasn't been proven fake and because their letter bumped it from 'funny and cute' to 'actually newsworthy,'" reports Queerty.com.

Indeed. Gyllenhaal's lawyers allege the photo violates the actor's legal rights by "portraying him in a false light, violating his right of publicity and constituting a false designation of origin in violation of the Lanham Act."

At least one photo expert believes the image is a fake, so perhaps Gyllenhaal isn't stretching. No, maybe just his lawyers.

First, does the picture really damage Gyllenhaal's reputation? Jake isn't the first actor to allege defamation by photoshop -- see Demi Moore vs. W Magazine -- but this is a pretty unique situation. Maybe Gyllenhaal believes he won't earn big bucks as a leading man if people think he prances around in his underwear (and allow himself to be filmed as such).

As for the publicity and Lanham Act claims, Gyllenhaal might have to trot out experts testifying to the value of a market in Gyllenhaal underwear photos being damaged by the appearance of this image. Who knows? Maybe Gyllenhaal really could be the paid spokesperson for Fruit of the Loom. We'd love to see the briefs. The legal ones, that is.

And Duke and Duchess of Cambridge lived happily ever after...

Prince William got behind the wheel of his father's vintage Aston Martin Volante sports car as he left Buckingham Palace with new bride Catherine Middleton. Prince Charles' navy blue convertible was decorated with balloons and a 'Ju5t Wed' license plate.

The newlyweds headed to Clarence House in the bunting-covered car following the ceremony and a horse-drawn carriage ride through London.

Photo: A Slender Kate Middleton Shops in London

The royal wedding is only days away and this blushing bride looks as calm as can be.

A slender Kate Middleton was spotted on a mini shopping spree on the streets of London today. The lingering paparazzi didn't seem to bother the princess-to-be as she made her way in and out of stores in the Chelsea section of London, including Peter Jones department store on Kings Road.

Middleton stunned in a simple black dress and glowing smile, but we can't help but notice her slimmed-down figure. Maybe this is just the most flattering dress ever made, but it looks like Middleton's already tiny frame is shrinking even more as the wedding day approaches.

Perhaps even a future princess does a little crash dieting before her big day.
