NEW YORK – It's gonna be a good, good night in Central Park.
Black Eyed Peas fans who missed out on seeing the group in New York City when a June concert was rained out are getting a second chance.
Front man Will.i.am (wihl eye am) on Wednesday announced a new date for the show, on Sept. 30. The concert is a benefit for the Robin Hood Foundation, an anti-poverty organization.
The free concert is expected to draw up to 60,000 spectators to the park's Great Lawn. Those who won or bought tickets to the June 9 show will get emails with instructions on how to claim their replacement tickets. A small number of additional tickets will also go on sale.
The show initially was delayed an hour because of severe thunderstorms and lightning, and then was scrapped.
