LONDON – Local police say a man in his 50s has been found dead in a portable toilet at the Glastonbury Festival, Britain's most prestigious summer music event.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary say that the man was discovered Sunday morning by officers in the VIP area of the festival. The cause of death was not immediately clear.
Glastonbury is a fixture of Britain's music calendar. Some 170,000 people have descended on a farm in southwestern England for the entertainment extravaganza, which includes sets by U2, Morrissey, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, Beyonce and scores of other acts.
