Jedward steal job from well known monkey

The recession can be hard for us all, and now it has claimed a new victim. Coco the monkey, the star and face of Coco Pops will be taking early retirement. The on-screen legend and Coco Pops veteran, serving the brand since 1963, will no longer appear in the cereal’s advertisement campaign as Kelloggs have replaced him.

Coco’s career has been cruelly cut short, no longer will he make the milk all chocolatey, now the responsibility has been passed over to none other than Jedward. Does Louis Walsh have some sort of special powers or is this truly what the people of Britain want? We call for a Coco Pops boycott.

So it is official: The Irish twins are slowly taking over the world. As the new faces of Coco Pops, their angelic little faces will be there every morning to greet us and visiting the supermarket will never be the same again. In the words of John or Edward:

"When you walk into the shop all you will see is our faces and kids will be begging their parents to buy us. That's going to be cool."
