There seems to be an unlikely bit of musical bromance brewing between the very trendy Alex Turner and boyband Veteran Gary Barlow.
In a recent interview with NME the Artic Monkey's front man Alex put out an apology to Gary for his claim in 2006 where he stated that Take That were 'a load of bollocks'. Now now Alex, that's our childhood you're slating.
Alex told the magazine that he'd like to take the insult back and said: 'We love Gary Barlow... I think we really offended him a few years ago though, which I'm sorry about. I didn't understand it then. Didn't know what was going on, trying to rustle some feathers.' The scamp.
We're sure Gary will be pleased to hear this good news. Maybe they can both put their song writing skills to good use and form some kind of strange yet fantastic duet. We'll just have to wait and see, we know where Alex stands but what about you Gary? How deep is your love?
Alex went on to say he bet that Gary looked good on the dancefloor, but that his opinion might change when the sun goes down and other Arctic Monkey song related puns (sorry).
