Score for Minaj: Front row next to Anna Wintour (AP)

NEW YORK – Move over Renee Zellweger, oh you of the tasteful buff dress and matchy matchy shoes. Nicki Minaj got the front row next to Anna Wintour at Monday's runway show of your beloved Carolina Herrera.

The multiplatinum singer showed up in a multiplatinum Marie Antoinette wig and technicolor pompom-ed sweater to grab the prime real estate at New York Fashion Week. Rounding out the look for her chat with the Vogue editor in chief was a bright orange mini skirt, neon stockings and pink shoes.

They exchanged smiles before the show but got serious once the models took to the catwalk. On Minaj's other side was W magazine fashion editor Stefano Tonchi. Zellweger, who usually rocks Herrera designs on red carpets, sat front row nearby.

Minaj attended Betsey Johnson's show later Monday, changing up her look with big, sea green hair and poofy striped ruffle dress.

The Grammy-nominated entertainer, who released her platinum-selling debut "Pink Friday" last year, has evolved from oversexed street rapper to animated R&B-pop singer and a bona fide star. She has a penchant for Barbies, wild outfits and cartoonish wigs.

At last month's MTV Video Music Awards, Minaj wore a printed surgical mask, rainbow wig and mini-tutu in a cubic design, with an attached string of stuffed toys.

Zellweger took photos with fellow actress Olivia Munn at Herrera. British singer Corinne Bailey Rae and "Twilight" actress Elizabeth Reaser also attended.

Cracker front man marries during university class (AP)

ATHENS, Ga. – Cracker front man David Lowery has married his band's manager, Velena Vego, during a music business class at the University of Georgia.

Lowery told The Associated Press that the pair exchanged vows Thursday in a brief ceremony on the campus in Athens. Lowery, who began teaching for UGA's music business program earlier this year, said Patterson Hood of the Drive-By Truckers was best man.

He said he and Vego were first married a year ago in California but never filed the paperwork. He said the pair wanted to make their four-year relationship official.

Lowery started Camper Van Beethoven in 1983 but grew to prominence with Cracker, which produced such hits as "Low" and "Get Off This." He also founded Sound of Music Studios in Richmond, Va.

Miss Brazil robbed at gunpoint in front of home (AP)

SAO PAULO – Miss Brazil has been robbed at gunpoint in front of her home.

The Miss Brazil pageant press office says that Debora Lyra was held up at gunpoint as she approached the entrance of her gated condo in Sao Paulo on Sunday.

Monday's statement says a well-dressed man with a pistol approached Lyra as she pulled up to her condominium. He took her purse, which contained her documents, cell phones and credit cards. He also took the car, which she had been given for winning the 2010 pageant.

She then tweeted in frustration: "For how long will these criminals keep doing this? I was just robbed at the entrance to my house."

Lyra will pass her title to the winner of the 2011 Miss Brazil pageant on July 23.
