Connie Britton spoke about the possibility of a "FNL" movie.

Good news, "Friday Night Lights" fans: Tami Taylor herself says there is still hope for a "FNL" movie.

Connie Britton, who played Coach Taylor's wife in the beloved NBC series, recently spoke about the possibility of a "Friday Night Lights" movie -- a project that has long been the subject of rumors from fans and industry insiders.

"I would love it to happen. I'm a big supporter of it happening. I don't know if we will see it or not," Britton told E!. "I know it was being written and [show creator] Peter Berg is really serious about so I think if everybody got on board, I don't see why we couldn't have a movie."

Ending its five season-run in 2011, "Friday Night Lights" was largely praised by critics, and gained much of its popular acclaim once it was made available on streaming websites such as Netflix. The series is based on a book of the same name by H. G. "Buzz" Bissinger.

Britton, who currently stars in the ABC series "Nashville," isn't the only Dillon favorite who has spoken about a possible "Friday Night Lights" movie. Adrianne Palicki, who played Tyra Collette on the show, hinted at the option of a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for the film, while Britton's onscreen husband, Kyle Chandler, seemed more apprehensive about adapting the series for the big screen. "I still like watching the show again, because it was so creative, the process," Chandler told MTV in December. "But they ended it at exactly the right time, in exactly the right way as well."

Marc Anthony denies affair rumors over J.Lo split (Reuters)

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Singer Marc Anthony on Thursday denied rumors that secret affairs with other women broke apart his marriage to "American Idol" superstar Jennifer Lopez earlier this year.

In his first interview since the July announcement of the demise of their seven-year marriage that brought them twins, Anthony, the top-selling salsa artist of all time, told ABC's "Nightline" news program that their split was amicable.

"It wasn't some sensationalistic happening," he said, denying infidelity played any part. "It was a realization on both our parts, you know, It wasn't shocking...These things happen."

On whether he wanted the divorce, he said: "It was a decision that we made jointly."

Last week, speculation sparked in the media of a love affair between him and actress Jada Pinkett Smith, the wife of A-list movie star Will Smith. Anthony co-stars on Pinkett Smith's TV show, "Hawthorne."

But Anthony, 42, called such speculation on celebrities "almost like a sport."

"I will always love Jennifer, she knows that and my kids know that," he said, calling Lopez a "wonderful" woman, mother and friend.

The marriage was the third for Lopez, 42, and produced twins Emme and Max in 2008. The two were married months after Lopez's engagement to actor Ben Affleck ended, and days after Anthony's divorce from former Miss Puerto Rico Dayanara Torres was finalized.

Lopez' music career has been enhanced by Anthony's popularity within the Latin music market. The couple performed together in a 2007 tour called "Juntos en Concierto." They also worked on each other's albums and starred opposite each other in 2006 film "El Cantante."

This year, she became a judge on No. 1-rated television show "American Idol," and her single "On The Floor" has been a top 10 hit in several countries.

"It is sad, because you think about the impact about all those people that believed in you," Anthony told ABC. "But there is still life to live together through Max and Emme."

Since the split announcement Lopez, 41, has graced magazine covers and been spotted in various media and gossip pages while Anthony has stayed silent.

Monaco palace rejects 'ugly rumors' about wedding (AP)

MONACO – An aide to Prince Albert II of Monaco has dismissed as "ugly rumors" news reports the sovereign's fiancee, Charlene Wittstock, tried to call off the wedding and return to her native South Africa.

Christiane Stahl says the reports, which have appeared in several European publications, are "the very incarnation of jealousy."

Stahl told Monaco-Info Wednesday that "only jealousy could push people to start such violent, such ugly rumors just a few days before a marriage."

Albert and Wittstock, a 33-year-old ex-Olympic swimmer, will be married in two-day-long festivities Friday and Saturday.

Stahl said the couple were "affected" by the rumors but added they are concentrating on last-minute preparations.

Aretha Franklin Denies Gastric Bypass Rumors

Aretha Franklin has shed a shocking amount of weight in recent months, but the singer isn't about to share her slenderizing secrets just yet.

At age 68, Franklin has lost a whopping 85 pounds, but tells Access Hollywood that her newly slim figure was not the result of weight-loss surgery.

When asked point-blank whether or not she had undergone a gastric bypass, Franklin responded, "Definitely not, and would not."

The singer, who, according to multiple sources, was suffering from pancreatic cancer last year, said of those rumors, "I don't have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors," adding only, "The problem has been resolved."

What Franklin has revealed is her desire to continue making progress by adopting a healthier lifestyle. "It's just really hard.
