Once a cheater, always a cheater?
Not so, according to LeAnn Rimes. In an appearance on The Wendy Williams show Wednesday, the songstress said that -- despite her marriage's unconventional start -- she completely trusts her husband, Eddie Cibrian.
"I think people think we wouldn't have [trust] with each other, but maybe because of the way we met and how honest we've had to be -- he's always been very open and honest about his past or anything that's gone on -- I do, I truly, truly, do [trust him]," she said. "I've never actually had this kind of trust with anyone."
Rimes and Cibrian met and began an affair on the set of the 2009 Lifetime movie "Northern Lights." They divorced their respective spouses amid revelations of their infidelity, and tied the knot in 2011.
Though their relationship has become a tabloid fixture, Rimes said that she and Cibrian are "happy."
"We are happy and there's a great love there, there's a great respect and that's a good thing," she told Williams.
