Could Another Celebrity Imitate Adele?

ABC has ordered a new reality competition called "Sing Your Face Off," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Based on an international concept called "Your Face Sounds Familiar" from Endemol, the six-episode contest will showcase five celebrities who are tasked with impersonating iconic singers, utilizing hours of makeup, choreographers and vocal coaches to perfect the transformation.

The competition will reportedly be judged not just on the celebrities' singing and dancing skills, but also how well they adopt their chosen musician's mannerisms, tone of voice and way of walking. THR reports that the participating talent will take on the identities of a number of different singers over the course of the series, with prizes yet to be determined.

Deadline reports that contestants will sometimes be required to impersonate someone much older or younger than them, or someone of a different gender. The celebrity contestants have yet to be cast, and there will reportedly not be eliminations built into the format.

"Your Face Sounds Familiar" originated in Spain but has been sold in over 20 countries across the world to date. The concept also sounds similar to British series "Stars in Their Eyes," which featured regular people impersonating iconic musicians. A premiere date for "Sing Your Face Off" has yet to be announced.

You've got to hand it to Jimmy Fallon for helping reinvent a holiday classic. This new "All I Want For Christmas" and his collaboration with Christina Aguliera of "Your Body" with office supplies made us smile. Hopefully there are many more of these videos to come.

Every dreamer's anthem, "Let Me Be Your Star" was a shining moment in musical TV history. It was the promise of something grand and it set the tone for ... what should have been a great season of "Smash." Unfortunately, the show stumbled a bit, but "Let Me Be Your Star" remains a beacon of hope that "Smash" can deliver great performances, top writing and a feeling of overwhelming promise and joy. Plus, it picked up a Grammy nomination.

Carly Rose Sonenclar is reason enough to watch two hours of "The X Factor" a week. The 13-year-old routinely blows the other contestants out of the water and is destined for record sales. Her performance of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" took us there and back.

Out of all the many, many Whitney Houston songs that were covered over a variety of TV programs, the "Glee" cover of "How Will I Know" was the most hauntingly beautiful. It didn't try and ape Whitney's iconic performance directly, instead the show put its own spin on the classic and Naya Rivera, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley and Lea Michele sang the heck out of the song.

And with that, Jessica Pare became a star and announced the triumphant return to "Mad Men."

Jessica Sanchez and Jennifer Holliday, two huge voices on one big song. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention Holliday's scene-stealing facial expressions while belting the notes.

Sure, it's a demon-possessed nun dancing around in another nun's lingerie, but that's why it was such a great moment of TV. Plus, Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" will never be old.

A throwback to classic network promos, NBC's "Brotherhood of Man" Super Bowl commercial is a highlight we'd happily revisit. Mariska Hargitay, who knew?

Though Connie Britton is certainly the draw of "Nashville" -- as is Hayden Panettiere for a younger set -- another duo have become the show's breakout stars. Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio play songwriting team Scarlett and Gunnar and their music -- largely written by T. Bone Burnett -- is "Nashville's" musical highlight. It all started with their cover of The Civil Wars' "If I Didn't Know Better."

Cee Lo knows a thing or two about being Green. His new holiday album featuring The Muppets is everywhere -- and adorable -- so his duet with Kermit of "It's Not Easy Being Green" on "The Voice" hit all the right notes. It made us nostalgic, happy and gave a new spin on a classic.

One word: Mandonna. "Like a Prayer" was the perfect way to end a spot-on "Happy Endings."

Jane Krakowski as Jenna Maroney has had many fine musical moments over the past seven years of "30 Rock," but during this final year she's nailed several, repeatedly. From "Jenna Is Listening" to her summer dance jam, "Balls," it's been quite a year Jenna. However, her "Secret Plan" song was just flawless.
